Search Engine Goodness part 3

Posted by Peter on May 31st, 2007

Well, folks, May has come and gone (and so has April). That means it’s time for 2 months worth of search engine goodness. These are some of the more random searches that lead to my site. I will not repeat some of the ones from the previous months so as not to be redundant. So, without further ado… here is the PeterAnglea.com search log for April-May 2007!

  • lyrics on happy birthday for principal - clearly it’s the academy administrator’s birthday…
  • non diatonic harmonization - simply put, it’s an Impressionistic compositional technique which uses diatonic chords in a non-standard progression (ie. not 3-6-2-5-1). I’m not sure when I became an expert on that, though.
  • happy birthday hungarian dance 5 - you write it, and i’ll play it. good luck.
  • how do you pronounce aurumque - i actually don’t even know…
  • church conference limited amount of scholarship money - now that does sound like a predicament.
  • yahtzee - now there’s a fun game.
  • dominoes - another fun game.
  • midifile living in a box - an unusual habitation indeed.
  • divine you think you re a man midi file - okay…..
  • manage wordpress sermons - yeah! My new plugin. Get it here.
  • explain hungarian dance no 5 - Well… it’s a dance… it’s hungarian in nature… and it’s the fifth one of its kind. What else would you like to know?
  • happy birthday in 6/8 compound meter - that’ll get confusing in a hurry.
  • shut the good theme door - hey, if you’ve got a good theme progressing, don’t stop it now.
  • steve anglea blog - well, I bet if I told my dad he’s got a fan club, I suppose he might start one up.
  • i guess i ll have to settle for that - wasn’t this good enough for you??

I would have had more if I had posted the 30-odd searches about Eric Whitacre, or the 30-odd searches regarding his music…

Introducing wpSermons

Posted by Peter on May 25th, 2007

Today marks the official launch of my first-ever WordPress plugin. Originally created as a plugin for a web design client of mine, wpSermons is now offered freely to the Internet community. This easy-to-use plugin allows users to upload recorded MP3 sermons onto their WordPress website so that all may listen to or download them.

For more information, visit www.peteranglea.com/wpsermons/. I look forward to seeing people use it.

Update: Please leave all support questions on the WordPress site - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpsermons/ - so that all can benefit. Comments are closed here. I will try to post some help and/or updates to correct some bugs some users seem to be having.
