Recent Happenings and Upcoming Events
Life has been busy and exciting since graduation in May. The majority of the summer was spent taking the most awesome trip of my life with the BJU Musical Mission Team to Europe. I won’t re-hash it all here; I’ve written epistles about the trip (and posted a few hundred pictures) on my facebook page if you haven’t seen yet. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the summer…
In early August, I returned to Greenville, SC where I now work as a web developer for my alma mater maintaining the university’s website and meddling in social media. On the side, I continue to compose and arrange. In addition, I’m beginning to have some sporadic performances of my work. On October 1st, my sister performed my Three Movements for Violin and Piano on her senior violin recital. Jubilate Deo is slated to be performed as part of a High School Choral Festival/Competition later this month and The Dawning will make on an appearance on a graduate voice recital next semester. (Side note: if you or someone you know is performing one of my works, I’d love to hear about it.) I am also very happy to be singing with the Rivertree Singers in Greenville. We have a few Christmas concerts planned, so keep an eye out for announcements about that in the coming weeks and months.

Thanks for posting an update. I’m not on Twitter anymore, so I can’t keep up that way. I’m also not on Facebook. Lydia told me about performing your work at her recital. I enjoyed catching up with what you are doing.

Hi, Peter!
Saw your request for digital piano recommendations. We got a Yamaha P-85 for our townhouse last Christmas, and it has been just great. This site gives good reviews, and my contacts with the sales people there were very helpful. The speakers are not all that great, but the headphones give a wonderful sound. We got ours for $1100 including 3 pedals, stand, bench and headphones. Hope that helps.
