About Me
In case you hadn’t figured it out yet, my name is Peter Anglea. If you know me, then you know how to pronounce my last name. If you don’t . . . well . . . I’ll just tell you it’s not phonetic. If you call me on the phone, and pronounce it wrong, I will give you a few choice words about telemarketing and hang up on you. So, to set the record straight, it is pronounced “angel.” Don’t get it wrong, now.
The title of this page is About Me, so it’s only fitting that I tell you . . . well, about me. I am currently enrolled at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. My major is Church Music, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Music from the School of Fine Arts. My principal instrument is the Piano. My future plans are to finish my B.Mus. degree and complete my education with a Masters degree, as well. After graduation, I am seeking to serve the Lord in the area of music. God has blessed me with musical talents and it my desire to give those talents back to Him in grateful service for the works He has done in my life. Along those lines, I would like to tell you how you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you do not know Him personally, you can today! My hobbies are many and various, however two are worth mentioning. First, I am a musician (if the previous paragraph didn’t give that away already). I enjoy playing the piano, the trumpet, the organ, as well as singing. I’ve been taking piano ever since I was 5, trumpet ever since the 7th grade, organ I picked up along the way, and I’ve been singing ever since I was old enough to sit in Sunday School (or younger). My other prevalent hobby is web design. Yes, music and web design . . . sounds like a weird combination, but it works for me. As a matter of fact, my brother and I run our own web design business - xHTMLpro.com. As the name of the company implies, we heavily utilize XHTML along with CSS to produce a website that is nothing short of stunning, standards-compliant, and browser friendly. We are also experienced with setup/installation of your favorite CMS’s (Content Management Systems). Our server-side language of choice is PHP, our favorite database backend is MySQL and our server OS preference is Linux. Visit our website to learn more about our services.
