I love this hymn, too. I was fortunate to have grown up in a church that had this hymn in the hymnal. We haven’t sung it in a congregation in years, but every now and then it comes back to my mind, especially in the morning when I first waken. I thought of it today at Aquarobics when I was able to ignore the “din” of noise around me and think of Jesus and me. How precious to be able to shut the door and be with God. Thanks for your post.

I was blessed by the encouraging music at the choir’s performance this afternoon in Vienna, Austria. The song that you directed was beautiful, and I would love to give a copy to my husband (also a musician, but was unable to attend the concert today). Is the sheet music available for purchase?
